  Statement of Faith The One True God We believe in one true, living, and almighty God , the Creator of heaven and earth, who revealed Himself in the Old Testament as Yahweh , the eternal “I AM” (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 45:5–6; Exod. 3:14). God is eternal, uncreated, and sovereign over all things (Ps. 90:2; Rev. 4:11). God reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14). The Father is the source of all that exists and the ultimate authority within the Godhead (1 Cor. 8:6; John 17:1–3). We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the pre-incarnate Word of God , through whom all things were created (John 1:1–3; Col. 1:15–17). He was active in the Old Testament as the Messenger of Yahweh and was revealed in the fullness of time through the incarnation, being fully God and fully man (Gen. 16:7–13; Exod. 3:2–6; John 1:14).
